Overview:
Pec.ie is the website of the Portarlington Enterprise Centre.
The main purpose of this site is to promote the centre as a place to locate a business.
The site also acts as a hub for resident businesses within the centre and to keep the community updated on the latest news at the centre.
The site is easily updated and maintained by the site admin using a Content Management System.

Technical Overview:
Pec.ie was developed using PHP, HTML/CSS, Javascript and MySQL.
The main objective, from a technical point of view, when buildng this website was to ensure that future maintenance of the site could be easily accomplished by someone with no knowledge of any programming language.
This was achieved, maintenance of site content is as easy as sending an email. The site admin can update all site content, upload to an image gallery and manage links to other related sites through a simple, browser based interface that gives immediate feedback.
